DESCRIPTION:We’re ready to take it on – are you!?\nThe Queen’s Baton Relay is heading here on Saturday, July 16th on its tour of the Commonwealth!\nThe local line-up has been split in to three – civic, community and celebration – and you’re invited to cheer on the Baton through our borough:\nCivic – the Baton will be officially welcomed by dignitaries, including the Leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council and the borough’s Mayor, on the steps of Blackburn Town Hall just after 4pm\nCommunity – Blackburn Rovers Community Trust is set to host invited sporting community groups to welcome the Baton at Ewood Park – home to Blackburn Rovers\nCelebration – from around 5pm, Baton Bearers will relay the torch from opposite Lidl’s in Darwen up to the Market Square where a celebration will be underway with live music and sporting activities\nIts final destination is Birmingham – where its arrival will signal the start of the Commonwealth Games, the largest sporting event in the country for a decade!\nMore info:  https://bit.ly/3nzKrQP\n
