DESCRIPTION:\nStarting at Darwen Market Square\nSunday 19th May 2024\n\nReady your engines and prepare your dapper attire, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is returning to Lancashire on Sunday the 19th of May, 2024!\nWe are delighted to announce that we will be welcoming back The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride this year to Darwen Market Square, before they set off on this year’s charity ride to Blackpool Tower.\nThere are currently 142 riders signed up to take part in the Lancashire ride, who are busy raising funds…do you want to join them?\nWhat is the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride?\nThe Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride ( https://www.gentlemansride.com/ ) unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.\nIt looks to connect all riders around the world who own and ride classic and custom style motorcycles and scooters, to dress dapper and unite in a parade through the heart of their city to raise funds and awareness for men’s health.\nEach ride is organised by volunteer ride hosts, and each city is limited to one ride.\nWhere do the funds go to?\nMovember ( https://uk.movember.com/?home ) has been the official charity partner of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride since 2016. Both organisations share a simple goal: to bring people together and change the face of men’s health.\nFunds raised by The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride help to power Movember’s work across two of the most complex issues facing men around the globe: prostate cancer and mental health.\nCan I take part?\nThe event is open to everyone, but there are some rules to be followed.
