DESCRIPTION:\nBlackburn & Darwen 9th Annual Festival of Brass\nMarch and Hymn Tune Contest\nDarwen Market Square\n \n\nThe 9th Annual Festival of Brass is taking place on Darwen Market Square on Sunday 9th June 2024.\n\n\n\nCome and join us for a wonderful afternoon of live brass music.\nThe competition starts at 1pm with the prize giving around 6pm depending on the number of bands entered.\nThere are over 20 bands competing from Lancashire and Yorkshire in this contest.\n\n \nFor up to date information, please see the Band’s Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/BlackburnandDarwenBand/ ) page.\nThe event is organised by Blackburn and Darwen Band with kind support from Darwen Town Council.\nThis is a free event that is suitable for all ages.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
