DESCRIPTION:\n\nDARWEN PRIDE 2024\n\n\n\nDarwen will be celebrating it’s first ever Pride event on Saturday 13th July.\n\n\nAn organising committee has been working hard to bring this event to Darwen Market Square.\n\nYou can expect to see a jam-packed live stage programme from 12pm until 10pm with performances from Free Spirit, Rachel Toner, Sarah Lego Lewis, Vintage Fusion, Lea Howarth and Liam Halewood as Boy George.  Guest drag DJs will also entertain the crowd. Nicki French will be headlining the event and  Patty Dale will be the host for the day.\n\nThere will be outdoor market stalls, food vendors, a bar by Sunbird Records, and a wide range of family friendly activities; including a teddy bear’s picnic!\n\n\n\nVarious venues will be hosting their own acts and activities to take things indoors from 22:00 onwards.\nDefinitely not a day to be missed.\n\nCome along and enjoy the fun and friendly atmosphere.\n\nDarwen's first pride event has been sponsored by the following businesses:\nGodfather, Bridgewater, PRMusic, Number 1 Coffee Shop, Sunbird Records, Furnell Roberts and Henry Christopher Printers.\n\n
