DESCRIPTION:Darwen Christmas Lights Switch On & Festive Markets 2025\n\nSaturday 15th November 2025, 10am – 7pm\n\nGet ready for one of the biggest festive celebrations in the region! \nThis year’s Darwen Christmas Lights Switch-On 2025 will be headlined by none other than Kelly Llorenna – the powerhouse voice behind dance classics Heart of Gold and True Love Never Dies.\n\n\nFollowing the record-breaking success of last year’s event, which saw K-Klass headline, Kelly will take centre stage in Darwen Market Square to lead the countdown to the big switch-on.\nKelly first rose to fame in the 90s as the lead singer of N-Trance, providing the unforgettable vocals for their chart-topping hit Set You Free.\nShe’s since enjoyed a glittering solo career with hits including Tell It to My Heart and This Time I Know It’s for Real, and has recently wowed crowds on the Clubland Arena Tour.\n\n\nNew for 2025 is Britain’s Got Talent finalist Steve Royle. The actor, comedian and juggler wowed the BGT judges with his laugh-out-loud routines that are sure to be a hit with the crowds. \n \n\nHe’s part of the packed programme for the main stage along with the big man himself, Father Christmas, and singers from Darwen School of Music’s Begin2Sing, who will perform their brand-new single celebrating the town. \nThe festivities kick off at 10am, with activities spanning Market Square, Darwen Market ( https://darwentowncentre.co.uk/market/ ), and the main stage.
