How much do you know about the heritage of Darwen? We are working with artist / illustrator Lucie Cooke to create a beautifully illustrated Summer Heritage Trail.
Whether you are a historian in the making or haven’t thought too much about it in the past, the #shopdarwen summer heritage trail is for everyone!
Can you find the 15 different shopdarwen businesses and the unique, hand illustrated heritage feature displayed at each one?
On top of that we have posed a question or challenge for you to guess, find out or do…can you complete it all?
The good news is, you don’t have to do it all in one go (although you can if you want!)
The trail will start on Monday 21st July and will run for the whole of the Summer holidays until Saturday 6th September, we’d love to see your photos and videos of taking part – use the #shopdarwen hashtag when posting on social media!
