The Jeweller’s Daughter
THE JEWELLER’S DAUGHTER
at Darwen Market
WITH NATASHA CHAPMAN
FREE family friendly activities for May Half-Term
The Jeweller’s Daughter is a theatre show full of celebration and culture. It tells the story of a little island in the Indian Ocean called Zanzibar; of a girl whose family were forced to leave, and the welcoming community they then found.
Join Natasha for a jewellery design craft workshop before the show which leads into the performance. Join in and learn together – helping to tell the story, led by Natasha, the Storyteller.
Based on a true story and with lots of games, colour, costumes, music and memories– The Jeweller’s Daughter aims to celebrate difference, bring joy and encourage us to learn about others experiences.
Workshop activity begins at 10:30am which leads into the show at 11am, the same happens at 1:30pm leading into a performance at 2pm
This is a free event supported with funding from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and UK Government.
The activity is organised and managed by Culturapedia and Spot On Lancashire.
No meetings or jargon, just friendly conversations while the family enjoys the fun.
Drop by, enjoy the free activities, and have your say!
