Can you complete the trail and figure out the secret festive message?

Darwen Town Centre are excited to be hosting the second ever Shop Darwen Christmas trail, a free event for children!

The trail is Twelve Days of Christmas themed, and involves twelve Shop Darwen retailers:

Sweet Vintage, Croft Street

Deli Carlo, Croft Street

Gold & Times, Darwen Market Hall

Cluck & Moo, Darwen Market Annexe

Stitch, Darwen Market Hall

Petals Florist, Darwen Market Hall

Hair Market, Darwen Market Hall

Sunset Amore, Railway Road

Scent Station, Railway Road

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to visit Sweet Vintage on one of the first four Saturdays in December, the 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd, collect a trail worksheet, and visit the twelve retailers listed.

Look for the Twelve Days of Christmas picture in the shops (ask if you can’t find it!), and for the “special” letter in each one – this will be highlighted in green. Take a note of each letter on your worksheet. Once you found them all, figure out what secret festive message is, write it on your worksheet and hand it back into Sweet Vintage.

If you’ve completed the trail mission correctly, you’ll get a little treat and be entered into the prize draw! Three lucky winners will win £10 of Shop Darwen vouchers to spend on whatever their heart desires!

It’s the perfect festive activity to enjoy while you do some Christmas shopping with your parents or carers in Darwen Town Centre.

If you don’t finish the trail on a Saturday, you can finish it another day (on or before 23rd December), but you’ll only be able to collect and/or hand your worksheet back into Sweet Vintage on one of the Saturdays.

Please keep in mind that the twelve retailers all have slightly different opening hours, so it may take a couple of trips to complete the trail.
