At Darwen Market
Meet Heidi and Henrietta, two Herdwick sheep who have ventured down from the Lakeland fells to graze and proudly show off their quintuplet lambs nestled in a beautiful old-fashioned pram. They aim to bring the serenity and beauty of the Cumbrian hills to Blackburn and Darwen this Easter (who knows, they may even win a rosette).
It is a little-known fact that Herdwick sheep are really good at dancing, so why not join in?

The flock will be grazing between 11am and 3pm both inside the market and outside.
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. This is a free event supported with funding from Arts Council England, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and Blackburn & Darwen Markets. The activity is organised and managed by Culturapedia and Spot On Lancashire.
