Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get creative — The Big Summer Draw is coming to Darwen!
Join local artist Lucie Cooke for a fun-filled, family-friendly art event right in the heart of the town centre at Fourteen Market Street. This totally free drop-in session invites everyone — of all ages and abilities — to help create a giant window art display celebrating Darwen’s rich heritage.
From Darwen Tower to the moors, football to Spitfires, and maybe even a nod to Adidas, we want to see what Darwen means to you. Not feeling confident? No problem — Lucie will be on hand to offer guidance, and you can also decorate some of her beautiful pre-drawn designs.

This vibrant community art display will be part of the Shop Darwen Summer Trail 2025, where Lucie’s art will also be featured in windows and chalkboards throughout town during the school holidays. Keep an eye out for more information on this to follow!
