A week of free, family fun, activities at Darwen Market has been confirmed for the Easter holidays in April.
The activities provided by the Markets Team at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, in partnership with award winning Crafty Vintage, are designed to provide young people with opportunities to create, relax, learn, laugh, make friends and have fun during the half term holidays at Darwen Market.
The scheme, called ‘Let’s Make’, is run by a variety of hand selected tutors, artists and performers. The programme includes traditional entertainment with magic shows, face painting and crafts, alongside some different activities, such as caricatures, pottery making and story mixing.
Laura Johnson from Crafty Vintage said;
“The activities at February half term were very popular and were extremely well attended – we were delighted! A lot of people could not believe the quality of the offer and the fact that it was free to everyone. There were lots of happy young people and as a result parents too!”
