Darwen Rotary and Darwen Primary Schools have joined up to celebrate St George’s Day.
A town wide school arts project which has seen students creatively designing their own dragon egg in recent weeks will culminate in a display of over a thousand dragon eggs at Darwen Market.
The competition, run by Darwen Rotary, has been organised to celebrate St. George’s Day and they are inviting the people of Darwen to the market to see this fantastic display and take part in celebrations.
The eggs will be in the market for a week following an official judging of the eggs on Saturday 27th April where a winner and two runners up will be announced.
Will your egg be on display at the market?
