The regions favourite FREE live music event returns this May bank holiday.
Darwen Live weekend sees a host of live music performances take place at the main stage in Darwen Market Square and across venues, pubs and bars in town.
The main stage event will kick off on Sunday May 26th at 1pm at the new Darwen Market Square with performances until 9pm. More live music follows on Monday 27th May until late.
Across town local venues such as Darwen Librabry Theatre on Knott Street plus local pubs and bars will have their own programme of live music and special offers.
The weekend is always a huge success with thousands of people turning out to enjoy good music and a fantastic atmosphere.
Also this year, on Saturday 25th May the market square will be taken over by 40 craft and vintage stalls as part of ‘Makers of Market Square’ an event organised by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and Crafty Vintage. Head to the market square between 10am-4pm for shopping, crafts, food, drink and music.
