New “Shop Darwen” retailer: The Doula Place Darwen by Snowdrop Doula
The wonderful Doula Place at 7 Bolton Road is one of our newest Shop Darwen retailers, and we’re so pleased to have them within the campaign!
Quality baby & children’s clothing and equipment available in Darwen Town Centre
This friendly hub offers:
- A large variety of both affordable new and preloved baby and children’s clothing (up to age 10), plus maternity wear
- New ethical toys and gifts
- Preloved baby items and equipment
Plus, they have a fantastic clothes swap service – bring a bag of clothes and take a bag home for free! A fab idea if your little ones have grown out of their current wardrobe.
Donations are also welcome, they particularly need children’s clothes from 9 months up to 10 years at the moment. If you’re having a clear out, please keep The Doula Place in mind.
There is also a small social space within The Doula Place where you can have a cup of tea and let your little ones play, and there are plans for more activities and events at the shop soon – be sure to keep an eye on their social media!

All profit goes directly to the work that Snowdrop Doula Community Interest Company do, which includes providing local families with award winning antenatal, birth and postnatal funded Doula and counselling support. Snowdrop Doula really is a fantastic resource for Lancashire parents, and we encourage you to take a look at what they offer.
Remember to ask for a Shop Darwen entry form if you spend £5 or over at The Doula Place (easy to do when there’s so many lovely things!). Fill in your details and post it in the postbox in Darwen Market to be in with a chance of winning the monthly prize draw! The prize is £50 of vouchers to spend at any Shop Darwen retailer.
