It’s in the Bag enables you to create simple home cooked food, with the very best produce, without digging out a cookbook and going shopping for all the ingredients yourself. The aim is to provide healthy, easy to follow, tasty recipes with all the produce you need at an affordable price. This first version of “It’s in the Bag” has a Greek theme, with Greek chicken and Greek baked eggs options available. You’ll get a recipe card in your bag that you’ll be able to keep and use as a reference to make the meal again.
Dinner at Maria’s began as a Supper Club that Maria hosted in her home, where people could come together and share food in a friendly and convivial atmosphere. Its success led Maria to “pop up” in a number of local settings including Four Seasons Garden Centre, Darwen Market and Tockholes Village Hall, and she has made appearances at Bolton Food & Drink Festival. Maria has also formed a successful partnership with Cuckoo Gin at Brindle Distillery.
The pandemic prompted Maria to provide delicious home cooked takeaways while her supper club couldn’t run, and these have proven to be hugely successful – they sell out very swiftly on WeFiFo. Maria is a supporter of Darwen Market and shopping local, and is thrilled to be using her fantastic culinary skills to make the market produce into fresh, appetising, stress-free meals.
