Less than two weeks to go until the next instalment of Darwen Monthly Artisan Market!
This is an event not to be missed in the heart of the town on Darwen Market Square.
The first Darwen Artisan Market, which took place on Saturday 12th August, was a roaring success. Quintessentially British summer showers were no match for the good vibes and vast array of items to peruse, food to try and circus workshops (kindly funded by Darwen Town Council) to enjoy.

Crafty Vintage, organisers of the Darwen Monthly Artisan Market, are champions of circular economy and shopping local. Laura E Johnstone, co-founder of Crafty Vintage, said:

In addition to offering the people of Darwen and surrounding areas various stalls to browse along with a fantastic atmosphere on the square, Darwen Monthly Artisan Market also encourages additional footfall to Darwen Town Centre and Darwen Market, prompting more people to take advantage of what we have to offer: from Darwen’s traditional market hall, to our numerous local businesses including unique boutiques, cosy cafes and everything in between. We love to see both locals and newcomers discover what a gem Darwen Town Centre is, and see the beauty in shopping small and supporting local businesses.

Darwen Market will also be open from 8am until 4pm, so be sure to pay our traders a visit.
