Darwen Market Welcomes Herbert Parkinson for Exclusive Pop-Up Event
We’re thrilled to announce that Herbert Parkinson Ltd, Darwen’s renowned textile manufacturer and part of the prestigious John Lewis Partnership, will be joining us at Darwen Market again for an exclusive Pop-Up Shop on Saturday 30th August 2025 from 8am to 4pm.
This special one-day event is a fantastic opportunity for our shoppers and the wider community to discover and purchase a stunning selection of home furnishings, cushions, duvets, pillows, curtains, and textiles, all proudly made right here in Darwen at the Herbert Parkinson factory.

Alongside the festival excitement, all your favourite regular Darwen Market stalls will be open, offering everything from delicious food and drinks to sweet treats and everyday essentials – perfect for enjoying on the spot or taking home after the festivities.
Darwen Market is open from 8:30am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It’s also open 8am to 4pm on Saturdays.
