Event booking charges may apply. This will depend on the size and nature of your event.

Once you have confirmation that the Market Square is available, you will be required to register your event with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council events team.

On the events page, you will find information to help you to consider the level of risk your event would fall under, as there are some health and/or public safety/licencing implications for larger or high risk events.

Certain events may be subject to additional COVID-19 secure measures. A comprehensive risk assessment may need to be completed for the event which will need to be submitted to the Event Safety Advisory Group together with an Event Management Plan.
