Calling all independent Darwen businesses!
If you own an independent business based in Darwen town centre, Blackburn with Darwen council are inviting you to sign up to their new marketing initiative, Shop Darwen. The campaign’s purpose is to support local businesses, give Darwen’s daytime economy a helping hand and encourage shoppers back to the high street. We are very lucky to have many fantastic independent shops and cafes in Darwen, and Shop Darwen will highlight and celebrate this.
Shoppers will be able to identify which businesses are part of the scheme as they will have Shop Darwen branded window stickers, posters and leaflets. Businesses are also being encouraged to use #shopdarwen on their Instagram posts.
Excitingly, once the campaign is up and running, customers who spend over £5 at participating shops will have the chance to enter into a monthly prize draw to win £50 worth of Shop Darwen vouchers. Keep an eye out for the launch of Shop Darwen to find out more!
