There’s so much to see and do this weekend at Darwen Market! You can enjoy festive entertainment while you get your Christmas to-do and to-buy lists ticked off.
Saturday:
Free festive family entertainment
The Naughty Elf will be providing walkabout entertainment in Darwen Market from 10am till 12pm. He’s a cheeky character – expect lots of games and pranks!
Santa will be back at the Grotto from 10am – 3pm. Children can meet the main man himself, get a photo and receive a toy for just £4 (all proceeds go to charity via Darwen Rotary). No need to book.
The wonderful Kiki Deville will also be joining us at Darwen Market on Saturday. She’ll be singing all your favourite Christmas songs from 12pm till 3pm. The perfect soundtrack to your Christmas shopping.
Let’s Make is back with face painting and glitter tattoos, plus Christmas colouring in, so the kids will certainly be well occupied and in the festive spirit.
Pop Up Stalls
There will be four fabulous pop up stalls at the market, Pipers Rae-nge children’s clothing, Punk At It artwork and photography, Sunset Amore Women’s clothes and accessories, and Verity (from Rushton’s The Bacon Stall) will be selling cushions, cushion covers and craft items.
Shop Darwen Reindeer Trail
The free #shopdarwen Reindeer Trail is still available for children to complete, and it would be a fantastic festive addition to your weekend.
If children complete their worksheet and it’s handed into Sweet Vintage, they’ll get a candy cane, sticker, and be entered into a prize draw. Read the full details here.
Sunday:
